What is PM Mudra Yojana (PMMY)?

The Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana is India’s flagship scheme to “Fund the Unfunded.” It provides loans to small businesses (MSMEs) without asking for any security (collateral).

Whether you want to open a kirana shop, buy a taxi, or expand your factory, Mudra is the easiest way to get capital. The interest rates are low (usually 9% to 12%), and the processing fee is minimal.

🚀 New for 2026: The government has introduced the “Tarun Plus” category. If you have successfully repaid a previous Tarun loan, you can now get a loan up to ₹20 Lakh (previously capped at ₹10 Lakh).
